Our Ethos

In ancient Greek, Ethos refers to the characteristic spirit, culture, and values of a community. It is the invisible thread that defines how a group of people live, interact, and treat one another.

When we set out to build a pole studio, we knew we didn't want to just create a room full of metal and mirrors. We want to build a culture.

We chose the name Ethos because this studio isn't defined by the four walls or our instructors. It is defined by us - together - rooted in our core beliefs.

Every climb and spin is an act of celebrating what your body can do.

It’s easy to get caught up in the noise of the pole world - chasing the next big trick, or getting the perfect video for the ‘gram.

At Ethos, we choose to slow it down.

We don't just teach tricks; we hold space for discovery and body awareness, self-expression, and mindful movement.

Moving with intention means listening to your body and learning about it. It means understanding the why behind transitions, finding power in the stillness between shapes, and treating every spin as a celebration of your grace and raw strength.

Whether you are here to fly high or glide in a low flow, your practice here is entirely yours.

Pole can be intimidating, but you don't have to do it alone.

We’ve all felt that nervous flutter before walking into a new studio. The fear of not being strong enough, flexible enough, or fitting in.

Ethos was built to dismantle that fear.

We are a space that is free of judgement. For us, community isn't just a buzzword - it’s something we actively practice, both in and outside of classes.

We celebrate each other's wins, support each other through the frustrations of new challenges, and we rise together.

To our day-ones and the new faces we haven't met yet: there is a spot on our floor waiting to welcome you.

You are never just a spot on the attendance sheet here.

Pole dance movement requires an immense amount of vulnerability - you’re asking your body to trust you in entirely new ways as you try unfamiliar moves that can sometimes be scary.

And so, we believe a studio should be a sanctuary.

A space where we actively look out for one other's physical safety, mental wellness, and personal growth.

It means our instructors are trained to spot with precision, our students check their egos at the door, and we fiercely protect the privacy and comfort of everyone in the room.

We look out for each other on and off the poles. You are safe to try, safe to fail, and safe to grow at your own exact pace here without judgement.
