POLE CHOREOGRAPHY
Level-based classes that build a full routine over an eight-week course, layering the choreography week by week. The genre changes each term, with some styles taught in heels and others barefoot.
Levels I, II, III and X. Eight-week term course (skill prerequisites apply).
-
Prerequisite: Pole Technique I recommended. Confidence in climb, sit, cradle spin (Jamilla), basic invert and pole-assisted handstand.
This early intermediate-level choreographed course introduces the creative and expressive side of pole. We focus on tricks and transitions from Pole Technique I, including basic invert, and their variations.
-
Prerequisite: Pole Technique II. Confidence in aerial invert, leg hang, hip hold (foldover), butterfly, layback and superman.
This intermediate-level choreographed course challenges you to integrate intermediate tricks and shapes seamlessly into the dance itself. We focus heavily on transitions, ensuring the movements between shapes are as beautiful as the shapes themselves, while building the confidence and endurance required for longer sequences.
-
Prerequisite: Pole Technique II or Pole Choreography II recommended. Confidence in aerial invert, leg hang, hip hold (foldover), butterfly, layback, superman and pole-assisted forearm/elbow stand.
This advanced-level choreographed class challenges physical endurance and movement memory, while encouraging overall performance quality throughout the dance routine.
Featured combinations include (but are not limited to) tricks and transitions from Pole Technique III and their variations. These require stronger pole control, blending technical precision with your own artistic connection.
-
Prerequisite: Pole Technique III or Pole Choreography III recommended, and by invitation only.
Engineered for the high-advanced pole dancer, this class focuses on high-level execution and complex, dynamic combinations. Learn to refine the conditioning, grip endurance and precision necessary to weave demanding aerial elements into a seamless sequence. Expect a high-intensity environment that pushes strength and flexibility to their limits.
